A web platform with an Odoo backend in half a year

ACF Connect is a financial services intermediary, connecting businesses that need a loan, lease, refinancing, or deposit with banks offering the best terms for their specific situation. For a model like this, technology isn't support, it's the product. That's why the ACF Connect project wasn't a classic ERP implementation, it was the construction of a web platform connecting a public frontend (financiraj.hr) with the entire backend of business processes, all within the Odoo ecosystem. Six months from signing to go-live, with the Website, Project, Contacts, Calendar, Discuss, and Documents modules as the backbone of the solution.


Forms that had to be perfect

When a business submits a financing request through the platform, that request has to contain exactly the information the banks require, no less, no more. Less means the bank rejects the request or asks for additional documents. More means the visitor abandons the form before finishing it. This was the key challenge of the ACF Connect project: to build a series of pages that function simultaneously as an intuitive user guide and as precise backend forms. Each of these forms has to communicate correctly with the system, generate structured requests, and ensure that all the data financial institutions need arrives in the right place, automatically. On top of that, the system itself had to handle a realistic volume of requests and have clear logic for where each request is generated, which bank it goes to, and how its status is tracked.



UX as a key discipline

In classic ERP implementations, users are trained employees. They learn the system, get used to it, accept compromises. With a public web platform like financiraj.hr, that luxury doesn't exist. A visitor opens the page, and within the first few seconds decides whether to stay. That's exactly why the most complex part of the project was developing the user experience and ensuring it was reliably connected to every other part of the system. Every click, every field, every step of the form had to align with two parallel goals: maximum accessibility for the visitor and complete data precision for the financial institution. The e-Sustavi team solved this challenge through custom development, a series of customizations that shaped the forms and their integration with the backend exactly to ACF Connect's business needs.


From manual forwarding to an automated workflow

Before the platform went live, every request from businesses had to be sent to financial institutions manually.
